Photo guide
Great posters start with the right photographs. Here’s what we need for each style, and what happens if a photo isn’t quite right.
Every photo
- Original camera or phone files, not screenshots or social-media downloads.
- A clear face in natural, soft light.
- Their real kit, with no filters or stickers.
- Uncropped. Send the full frame and we’ll do the rest.
- Blurred or pixelated faces. These can’t be reliably fixed.
- Missing body parts (cut-off feet or hands) for full-body styles.
- Heavy shadows, strong backlight or night-time flash glare.
- Group shots where your player is small in the frame.
Player Profile
A clear portrait
Head and shoulders to waist, facing the camera, in their kit. Holding a ball is welcome.
Action Hero
A full-body action photo
Head to boots, mid-action or a staged pose. Include the ball if you want it in the poster. We can’t create an action pose from a headshot.
Season Keepsake
A portrait plus a rear view
The two-pose design uses a smiling portrait and a full-length photo from behind, showing their shirt number. No rear view? We can agree a portrait-only version before we start.
Ordering the pack? Ideally send a portrait, a full-body action photo and a rear view, all of the same child.
Crop, light and resolution
Posters are printed at A4, so we need enough detail. As a guide, the original file straight from your phone or camera is almost always best.
How you send them
After you order, reply to your order confirmation email and attach your photos. They are never shown publicly or added to this site, and are used only to make your order.
If a photo isn’t suitable
We check every photo before starting. If one won’t work we’ll tell you exactly what we need. If we can’t agree an alternative, we’ll arrange a cancellation and refund before anything is produced.
Permission and privacy
You confirm you’re the parent or guardian (or have their permission) and have the right to use the photos. We only use them to make your order, and never for marketing without your separate permission.
